Many boxing promoters have tried but current circumstances did not favor them especially those who wanted to hold their events in the Nation Capital Region. According to our sources, Elorde Promotions, GerryPens Promotions, and Hardstone Monis are some of the promoters who tried but unfortunately had to put a halt for now due to pandemic restrictions.

From Bacoor, Cavite to Rizal, Laguna, Quibors Boxing not only found a new gym location for their boxers but also a permitted location for a boxing event during the pandemic. The Municipality of Rizal, Laguna, and Quibors Boxing Promotions will make history as the first to ever hold a boxing event during the pandemic in Luzon.
Rara Ar-ar Andales, Relentless WBF champ on my Watch List
With 11 wins and 2 losses, this 21-year-old boxer is a must-see attraction in Philippine Boxing. The way he is being brought up, he will soon be one of the popular boxers on the island. Already a WBF Minimumweight World Champion defeating veteran and formerly undefeated Rey Caitom, he also held the WBA Asia Championship belt.
Andales will be pit against Zandy Padiran who will be inspired fighting in his hometown Laguna. Zandy is not a pushover and will undoubtedly bring the pain and a win against Ar-ar Andales will help boost his career. A fight that will not only bring the action but the future direction of each boxer.

The event will be supervised by the Games and Amusement Board and it will be closed-door with strict implementation of health and security protocol. This means spectators will not be allowed on the venue but footage of the fight will definitely be available online on Quibors Boxing Facebook page and Powcast Sports.
