Charly Suarez and Carlo Magali will fight for the WBA Asia and Philippines national titles (super featherweight) on Sunday October 23 .
The bout will take place at the Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City, Philippines.
Charly Suarez is an unbeaten former Olympian (12 wins) and holds the WBA Asia title. He is heavily touted as the Philippines’ best boxer and their next world champion.
Carlo Magali is the current Philippines national champion (25 wins) He was also slated to fight for a world title back in 2019 against the then unbeaten Miguel Berchelt, but the match was cancelled due to an injury to Berchelt. Magali resumed from this setback to defeat top ranked Lightweight prospect Al Toyogan.
